going to be working on a way, to heat water with a rocket style heater. Trick to not blowing your house up, open top hot water tank. See old style wood burning stoves,' that have a connected vat/basin=chose your word for it, ' gravity feed the water to sink for dish washing, or shower.
Sound like a plan?

I suggest you take this up in the permies forums where the real experts can answer in a lot more detail.

I've always thought I could survive off-grid, but my wife says she doesn't want me to dis-connect from the power from the grid. I am able to keep the electric bill under $50 even during the winter. I use solar and bio-mass to augment energy costs.

I think the grid is an excellent battery and far greener than using batteries. Are you using jean pain like techniques? We've discussed this sort of thing at great length at the permies forums.

I have several other rocket videos up - is that what you mean?
As for heating water, we've been talking about that at great length at the permies forums. In this limited space, I think the only safe thing to say is: "don't do it or you'll blow your house up!"
