This is a short comparison of Ronald Reagan and Barack Obama on their ideas about national health care. Using multiple sources that shows both men speaking their opinion before they were voted into office, you'll see a complex dichotomy between these two men and their ideas. To steal an overused phrase, their ideology is much like fire and water.

Which man should win this round?

Reagan or Obama?

Fun Fact: The footage of candidate Obama was available for the press to find during the 2008 election. With the recent exposure of the "journa-list" emails is it any wonder why most Americans have never heard Barack in his own words hoping for a "...public option". Why would that be... hmmmmm...

  • Great video.

  • @jensen1901 The vast majority of TPP still love Reagan. And there are more Black Americans running for Congress now than ever, on the Republican ticket. This is not the last gasp as you call it. It is only the beginning. Get us to it.

  • The promise of free health care is what brought communism to China! "The history of China"! If the Gov. is in control of YOUR health care, it has control over you, unless you NEVER need health care for you or your children! Think about it!

  • @iwave24 It's easily dealt with. What you do is offer to fund state programs. You set certain criteria by which that money will be disbursed. In essence, you let the states do the work to get the money that's earmarked for national goals. There's nothing in that that violates either the letter or the spirit of the US Constitution.

  • @PatchesRips Congress will use the commerce clause to enact unpopular mandates however the clause states "To regulate Commerce with foreign Nations, and among the several States, and with the Indian Tribes." for this to apply towards mandatory health care, the wording has to be taken out of context to provide for such broad power."To regulate Commerce with foreign Nations, and among the several States, and with the Indian Tribes." Nothing here states they can pass HC in fact it states they can't

  • @Mummificationify "It’s unconstitutional mandating all citizens to purchase health care."

How? Name the amendment where it says Congress can't pass such a law.

  • I just had a friend up visiting me from New England. Worried he was having a heart attack (he wasn't), we checked him in at emergency and $500 later, he was told he was fine. That's $500 I wouldn't have had to spend, and he wouldn't have had to spend if he lived here. I'm sure glad Canadians didn't listen to plutocrats like Reagan in the years before I was born.

  • 2 people are brain-washed socialists

  • Do the leaves on the trees get to vote for which leaf gets the most sun?
