... This is just the basic stuff with PhotoShop. Looking for transparent stuff, advanced in other words. I feel like I wasted my time. :/

but most like do after 4/5 layers (and make a new layer ofc to paste it in forgot to add).
and maybe a few times when playing with the effects.

Tip: when u have already like 4/5 layers of meshed brushes or grunge try to merge (CTRL+E or CTRL+SHIFT+E) em all cut the image u just made (CTRL+X) alt+z untill u got all ur layers back... and paste (CTRL+V) back in the layers u just merged.
Then go: Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur > Set to 2-10 whatever u like (have to play with it)
and THEN use ur filter settings Like color dodge... gives awesome effects especially when u start to color bance after
