Secretary Seward called it the most beautiful lake in the world. It is definitely on my short list. West Lake Rd in the spring time is heaven. I fell in love there once.

@cunnidvd Skaneateles and all the finger lakes should be on everyones short list. Been going to this quaint village since the 1950's as my aunt lives there.

its a beutiful place!!! i go to alot of nice places in ny state anyways didnt the rules get strick after the pier was rebuilt like you couldnt go out there after a certain time i think my cousin got in trouble for walking out there got a fine and it wasnt even past 8pm i think....

Yes this is the most beautiful place I've ever been able to spend a great deal of time. I got to teach some of the amazing high schoolers of Skaneateles for a few years. The best job I could ever have! Miss it like crazy!
