  • I remember her singing "No Other Love..." if I'm not mistaken,,,

  • @iamalwaysawoman She recorded No Other Love with George Greeley on the piano on album titled "No Other Love", Capitol 1053 released on May 5, 1950. She recorded it again in 1963 on album titled "The Hits Of Jo Stafford" Capitol ST 1921 released in January of 1964, . I have the 1950 version in my mp3 library.

  • Perfect intonation in the performance of this Lady Vocalist. They don't produce any nowadays to match this QUALITY.

Thank you for the many years of enjoyment I've had listening to your many & varied beautiful renditions

  • I love both her and Norah Jones's version!!

  • Only when I'm in your arms am I truly happy Charlie

  • She has a quite beautiful voice. I believe she was part of a group of back-up singers who provided the beautiful harmony on some of Sinatra's earlier recordings. (1940-50)

  • Only one other person does this song as well, John Gary

  • Can you imagine "Lady Gaga" going up against Jo? One has class, talent and a magical voice. The other? Well, shock value I guess?

  • WOW - Just heard this version for the 1st time - man, does she nail it! Truly one of the greats - right there with with Peggy, Ella, Frank and all the other "1st namers" -

  • One of the greatest singers I have ever listened to. One of my very favorite singers. She couldn't help it, she was born with talent, musicality, and an exquisite taste.

  • It just takes my breath away. Thank you.
