The second part of a three part series covering the FMS PERF Index.
REMEMBER: This is a very detailed analyzation of the FMS features. It is not necessarily the normal programming flow that pilots use. To see basic FMS setup after powering up the aircraft please see my other video, "Wilco ERJ-145v2 - Configuring the FMS for Flight."
Not "Deviant", "Deviation". and yes, we are to enter the "Difference" in Temperature Centigrade, FROM..... "ISA" ( international Standard Atmosphere) also, it's pronounced "ISA" just like that. not stating the letters individually "I....S....A" as you stated. there ya go. Great tutorial's. you really know your stuff.
i also had to learn this thing from the ground up, all Reading on my Own, but DID find a couple Citation X pilots who told me a lot! Lol! great job!

Hey I like your stuff. The fuel planning is wrong though. If you noticed you're doing a 2 hour flight but the computer gave you a min fuel figure of about 4.2, at a min a 2 hour flight you'll consume 7 to 8 and should be taking off with 10+ fuel on the ERJ. The reason why you got the low estimate was because you put your initial altitude at 30K+. This FMS it doesn't take into account the fact that you'll be taking off and climbing. I'm an actual ERJ pilot and will try to make my own video soon!
