The U.S. government is destroying it's own people. A revolt is coming.

I am sorry nort to understand the words, but in my heart I can feel them. I feel, that we all must have more prayers for those, who lived before us, for those , who suffered from our ancestors, for those, who suffered maybe from our own. To repent and do better is the best prayer.

This is a really powerful video, I don't understand the words but I can hear the circles in the prayer, the circles the words make, there's very much harmony!

I had tears in my eyes as I watched this video. My mom's family is of Lakota ancestry. I was adopted by her and my dad when I was born. I do not know who my mother or my dad is but I am grateful to them for taking me in. My skin is white, but I love the Lakota culture. Whenever I go out to see me aunts and uncles they treat me not as an outsider but as family.

Pilamayaye for posting this video. The music and pictures are beautiful. I am learning Lakota. It is great to hear the language and then the English translation. I understood some words, but still have a lot to learn. Last August, my friend and I went to the powwow at Rosebud, the Lakota Museum in St. Francis and also to Wounded Knee. I miss So. Dakota. It is so beautiful!

@Kathygrl08 I totaly agree with you 100% Kathy! I am White,...My last visit to this site was back in Sept. 2007.
As I walked the cemetery, I gazed off into the distance northeasterly direction! I was looking at a round shaped building which I believe is now a museum or something like that. Anyways, As I looked in that direction, I had gotten visions of warning / danger! Be cautious of this area that I speak of! The more that I wanted to walk in that direction, The stronger the warning!

The 7th Cavalry was entrapped the day after the Wounded Knee Massacre. The 9th Cavalry Buffalo Soldiers rescued the 7th Cavalry.
Read the novel, Rescue at Pine ridge, the story of the rescue of the famed 7th Cavalry by the Buffalo Soldiers, and visit website; rescue at pine ridge. com. The novel embodies Native Americans, Outlaws and Buffalo Soldiers, in the days of the Native American Wars with the approach USA. Story is about, brutality, compassion, reprisal, bravery, heroism and gallantry.

Pilamaya for your answer. Excuse me for writing this comment twice, I didn't want to do it. I regret so much for your mother. Wakan Tanka may be always with her. I regret that I can't go to the St. Joseph's School, its too far for me but I always send some money for the Lakota children. The U.S.government should do much more for the native americans to ease all the pain they've done in former times and still yet to them.

@loshafan54 , Pilamayaye - Fr. Steve is a good man, he too has been diagnosed with cancer recently, he is fighting his battle, but has always put the kids at St Josephs first without removing their ancestral identity. My wife and I are making the trip out to South Dakota to visit relatives, we will return 8/10.

@loshafan54 I leave in a week to visit family in Mission, between Pine Ridge and Rosebud rez - I will be visiting Fr Steve at St. Josephs, we (Red Feather Life) always make it a point to visit and donate various items and money for the Lakota children there, I love Chamberlain and the river there (not to mention the sweet grass). May peace be with you always.
