As a mason, ornamental metal fabricator, and general lover of "TRUE" freedom, as crazy to some as Jim Bishop may seem, this man is a true craftsman and a true patriot unlike those in DC. I can only dream of finishing and pulling off what he has. Thank you Jim!

FUCK THE GOVERNMENT

I just went to visit the castle yesterday and of the numurous times i've seen the castle, yesterday is the first time I ever witnessed one of Mr. Bishop's rants. I thought he was crazy ut after seeing this video i realize hes not. This guy is determined, if the castle ialone isnt proof of his determination, the fact that the governmebt, local, state, and federal are afraid to send the guy a letter is. I wish i could figure out how to get the government off my back.

I have visited this castle and I will tell you that I am a construction man for 40 years and Jim Bishop had my undying admiration. I still can't believe how one human could do all this much by himself. A true patriot and genius!

Although I do believe Mr. Bishop has a few ego problems, he does deserve a ton (or several tons) of respect for the work he has created and his fight against oppression and tyranny from our own government. I was really disappointed that he wasn't at the castle when my family visited a few years ago, but I hope to make more frequent trips to CO after college and Bishop's Castle will always be one of my stops. Please don't antagonize Jim. He's obviously been through a lot and has a lot to yell about. Just leave him and his castle alone, unless you wanna drop a dollar in the box.

I sorta love this guy....... but damn son! He's gonna die young with all the tension. He does great work and he knows it, and so the govmnt wants a piece too..... this is our system that we let loose!
