I love guppies too...they just multiply really fast and my terrapin doesn't eat them all, she just keeps population in good shape. I don't sell them because I feed them very well and they are good / safe food for my terrapin. I don't trust buying feeders at pet shop. I can see where it could seem cruel...but it is like nature. I don't think my pet shops would buy all my guppies. When i don't want a lot of them, I take away all hiding spots and the adults guppies eat them.

I find this video rather distressing! How must it be for all those poor fish. Why do you need so many?

They Are Fighting A Current, I See. That Does Not Look Healthy, I Think Some Might Be Imbred....

@LPSdogs101
they are fighting a current because of my wet / dry filter. it sends out a stream from a spray bar every 2 minutes. that glass piece is a ramp to the beach. my tank has a built in beach for my diamondback terrapin. so my filter send waves to the beach every 2 minutes.

Beautiful babies, but that's a crapload for one tank, even at that size. I hope you pay good enough attention to them! I can tell you care because no one looks sick or bored, I just hope everyone knows they're loved. :3

Thank You! I am hatching baby brine shrimp right now for them. If that's not love...i don't know what is.

@MrTrippleZero I do the exact same thing. I have two 55 gallons with guppies, platies, neon tetras, cories, plecos, and red gouramis, and I give them plenty of brine shrimp every night. It's funny to see how the babies thank you for giving them treats like that.

i like to see them bounce around eating the live baby brine shrimp. they love it so much. i also like to grow them out and watch the babies wretsle with the adult brine shrimp. i use the descapulated eggs now and i dont deal with any shells anymore. it is so easy...i just do 3 tablespoons of sea salt and a few drops of bleach and they hatch in about 12 hours with temps above 78...and the unhatched eggs can be fed to them also.
