you ALWAYS have to mix your lye in either stainless steel, a ceramic bowl, or a thick glass like a canning jar. IT looks as if you guys need to do some research online on how to actually make soap.  It's a good idea to really learn the process before you start making soap. The weights have to be dead on accurate. Use a scale! Glad your wearing protective gear. So many people dont.

Amateurs!!! Why to make video if you dont know how to make a soap. When I made soap for the first time even then I had no problems couse I had prepared carefully. You have to make a solution of Lie (NaOH) and water in a thermo resistant glass container for this a simple jar that is ussually used for making jams could be used couse theese jar usually can take quite high temperatures.
