I bet it's tough to keep the camera from moving too much. All the bumps and motion in the car must get picked up by the goggle gyros.
Btw, you got a cool dad

@echelecopao Using a mechanical head tracker that doesn't care about
the motion of the car. Keeping the sticks centered over the bumps was the tricky part.

hey do you think this plane would do good with just a 400 motor and a 6/4 prop but with all the fpv on it, but no fancy osd etc?
magicmike1122 1 year ago
@magicmike1122 I don't know. "400 motor" is pretty vague. I just chose a setup that was fairly proven by others, and switched from 6x4 prop to 7x4 for more low speed torque at high altitude.

What type of motor/esc/battery are you using?

@inciteman Mega 15/15/4 combat (5mm shaft) motor, Jeti Spin 44 ESC, 3S1P 2100mAh Lipo, turning a 7x4 prop. It's a little over-propped for the motor, but I don't run it around at full throttle for the whole flight, and it works well at the high altitude I live at. My goal was longer flights, rather than top speed or infinite vertical climb.
I've flown three 16 minute flights through the camera back to back with this setup.
