This is a short review of Windows DVD Maker. It's a nice addition to the operating system from Windows XP, but Windows Vista has it as well. So if you have Windows Vista this isn't much of a reason to upgrade, but if you have Windows XP and don't own any third party DVD making software then the Windows DVD Maker software in Windows 7 would is great.

  • I keep getting a message saying An error occurred while burning the the DVD at 99%, can you tell what I am doing wrong

  • @760phillip - Probably nothing if it gets that far along. Have you ever been able to burn it with other software? Could be a problem with the source file that doesn't happen to cause issues with replay, but shows up when burning. I've seen others in forums online that have converted files with similar issues to a different format (from WMV to AVI for example), then tried burning again, and it worked.

  • when i try to run windows dvd maker it give error and says:the video card installed in this computer doesn't meet minimum reqiurments.

but i have 128 Mb VGA card.

    what should i do?

moreover when i am to chose a screen saver it says:the screen saver can't run because it needs a newer video card or one which is compatible with 3d.

    help me plz!

  • @alishanjavid1 - I don't know what's wrong, but strongly suggest you find someone local that can come take a look at the computer. Might be driver problems which can be difficult to troubleshoot.

  • Why is my intro so short? I only see two pictures in the background and then it stops. The music also. Then it starts again.

  • @Elyesa15 - Not sure. I just let it run in Chrome and everything seemed fine. I'll check again later. If something's wrong I'mm remove it or redo the video. It was made well over a year ago and any video can be improved of course.
