When I hear that background music highlighting the tension and the drama, I know THIS is One Life to Live!!!!

Gosh Mitch was so fine back then. He was so evil. He just made you hate him but at the same time want him in a naughty way. (hahaha!) thanks for posting this. I haven't watch OLTL since they took Max Holden off. I miss the old Todd. Now Asa and the olde Clint are gone. Great actors. May they rest in peace. I just wished todays shows could be more like yester years. Those were the best years of television 80s and the 90s.

Funny. I never watched OLTL, only Days and General Hospital. But I did watch OLTL during this storyline. This was great!

Stop beating around the bush, Tina. Just heed the messenger.

So good to see Brad in this clip as well! :-)
The lighting was excellent during the Rauch years, but it wasn't just limited to OLTL. All of ABC's soaps at that time had the bright lighting, as did NBC (check out clips of "Texas" if you can, which had perhaps the brightest lights of them all). In my opinion, they really brought out the characters and the sets; the scenes came alive. It's no wonder why nowadays, the lighting is so dark you can't make out the actors' faces

The writing here is superb! Love the flashback scene with Mitch and Tina in bed and--of course--the background music!

everyone trashes the lighting but I loved it. It made the show unique!!

Love everything about this era except the lighting. What were the producers thinking?
-
Hell yeah!!!! I love the background music of 80's and early 90's OLTL. Remember Tina's theme and the music for Alex Olanov?

my goodness i couldn't have said it better! I loved amc, oltl,&gh from 1986-1995
Why was Mitch wearing sunglasses?

Many "Bad guys" wore sunglasses back in the
day, including the bad guy after Mitch if I remember correctly. In fact I think it was the same pair, hehe. It was just a way to set them apart from the "good guys".
