I think he was just referring to whatever WE are. If you imagine the body as a vehicle, our spirit is the driver.

Funny thing is, in Japan this is the name of a competition that tests peoples strength and endurance. It is a very serious test for many. I've seen it many times and it is damn hard!
Look for "Ninja Warrior 2009" and you'll understand what this guy is talking about. (Yes, it does sound like he is a little kid wanting to be a Ninja warrior, but that is the problem with Japan, they always use these colourful names for everything)
