I got clarification of the time from the organisers:
two choices:
a) 3PM GMT : that makes 8 am west coast US. 11 AM east coast US, 4 PM France , 3 PM London and 1 am australia
b)1pm thru 2:15 pm per local time zone as it is hard to get to areas at nite...It is much easier and safer during daylight when one can see their footing..."

i shall do this. Quick questions, what is this music (its nice)? and i thought we are in BST (british summer time) now not GMT. thanks!!

hi. Music is "Land of Dreams" by equinox sounds - (Royalty Free).
GMT - I believe that stating GMT was less confusing than BST which many people don't know about, but as far as I am aware 10pm UK time should be the right time.

I was never good at working out puzzles like this! lol. It now says on the website 8pm GMT!
I've sent an e-mail asking for clarification. I'll put up a post in the notes area as soon as I know myself.
