Keychain SpyCam Theater: RC airplane footage

I got one of those "spycam" keychains off ebay (direct from Singapore) for 15 bucks and it works great! The tiny size enables use on remote controlled aircraft without altering flight characteristics. I added 3 mounting points to my scratch built 60" foamie plane - one on the right wingtip, one on the top of the rudder and one in the cockpit. For mounting I hotglued velcro to the keychain cam and the plane.

Got some bad wavy effects too! They look kinda cool...in a trippy way....check out the "giant aluminum worm" effect shot from the rudder looking forward - LOL!

Summary: it works, pretty well, too. Not as good as your regular camera in quality, obviously. But for small planes that can't haul a 6 - 8 oz camera, it's good. And for the ability (because of tiny size) to mount it anywhere - 15$ can't be beat!!
