  • Actually if you tune your guitar to standard A-440, the song is played in the Key of B, with the chords B and E. This is the same chords that are used on the actual recording.

  • Uh...Yeah. The song is actually in the key of G, played without the low B. Then shifts to C without the low E. Listen to the recording by Waylon - it's sped up a bit, but that's what he played live, too. And what about the solo breaks??? Waylon was vastly underrated with his pickin'...
