This is an AWESOME very rare Fleetwood Mac (backstage) interview from 1982!! It features Lindsey Buckingham (my fave) and Christine McVie. Also included, is a short, but AWESOME live clip of the Chain from the US Festival!!

Enjoy!! ~Jackie (:

  • I Went to the US Festival of 1982 & 1983, and this song was REALLY GOOD!!! THE CHAIN ROCKS!!!! But anyway...IT WAS REALLY HOT!!! Man was i parilized!!! XD

  • ChazYocom ~ That's GREAT!! You're REALLY lucky to have been there in person to see this!! The Chain is one of my faves too!! (:

  • [continued...] I got right up front for Pat Benatar, who played, right before them, so it was great seeing her and then Stevie up close too! The final surprise for me was not only how good Fleetwood Mac was live, but the band that actually closed the show right after them was The KINKS and they blew the crowd away all over again!!!

  • know1self ~ Thanks for your great comments!! You are VERY lucky to have seen F.Mac live via this festival. It's a shame it was so hot that day though. (:

  • I was there!! I feel lucky to have seen FM at their best but also the whole Festival....It was Great! I witnessed History and now watching it here!!..

  • What I remember as best was the laser lights over head at night. The way it lite up the sky. The giant TV screen over the stage was a first too. Half way up the hill, during the day, the water jets blasted US from the speaker stands raining sown on US. And everyone was carting around a water bottle to squirt each other.

  • They were the closing act to the whole festival and totally blew the house apart! the music was bouncing off the hills behind us and if you have never seen 300000 people dancing you have not lived!!!

  • I was there. I set up for the festival and broke it down. When they came on I was 16 stories above the stage letting thousands of balloons fly away. It was so friggin enchanting. This was suppose to be a movie and it never got released because of royalty disputes. It's great to see this footage. There's some of me giving Eddie Money my orange soda when he comes off stage in 106 degree heat in a 3 piece suit.

  • @twistedcinema @twistedcinema I just posted a pic of my 2 t-shirts from the '82 US Festival and they don't even match as far as the lineups for the 3 days--there were obviously many last minute changes. But you're right, Pat Benatar and Tom Petty did play on the 2nd night. I did party a lot that weekend and some things were foggy, even at the time, but I clearly remember getting up close to see both Pat Benatar and Stevie Nicks.

  • @know1self ,,,Huh? The Mac and Benatar didn't even play on the same night. The Kinks played after Benatar and before Tom Petty on the 2nd night. Were you there or is something fogging your memory?
