Obviously 'booing' is a sign of intelligence. I commend this highly educated crowd for expressing their opinion in the utmost of respectful scholarly terms.

The point of the taxes argument is not that they are high, it is that the fed is using hard earned money to promote unconstitutional programs. Yes, the taxes were high in times of war and it would be fine today as well, but President Obama has CUT military spending and defense spending, so where is that money going? To the unconstitutional programs, which is hurting our economy and destabilizing our country. Also, I am not a republican OR a democrat, I'm just an American.

Fox News is actively destroying the Republican Party. All this "nazi", "communist", "fascist" (or whatever they can think of) talk is ridiculous, and they know it. It's outright propaganda (look it up in the dictionary). They talk about taxes. Google "historical top tax rate" and you'll see that we've had much MUCH higher taxes in the past, especially in times of war. Everybody chipped in to stabilize the country when it was needed, like we do RIGHT NOW!!!!

I don't reallt believe in the death penalty...but I really don't think liberals do a good job articulating just why we need health care reform in the first place.

I mean, all you need to do is remind Americans of the fact that almost everybody, regardless of whether you have insurance or not, faces the threat of financial devastation under our current health care system.

Then of course, you have to remind people that insurance companies are complicit in homicide.

Or when people in insurance companies get bonuses when they find ways to deny expensive coverage. That is why I think profit does not always has our best interest.

Maybe a bit over the top but I agree that it is outright barbaric to let somebody pay for many years and then when the shit hits the fan just drop them. That is real nazi like. That is a real death panel.
