Roberto Calvi was found hanging from Blackfriars Bridge in London 1982, his death was first said to be suicide, then with his wife pressing for the case to be re-opened it was then stated it was murder. Calvi was banker to the Vatican, he also started his own private bank Banco Ambrosiano, he was member of the PS2 Lodge of Freemasonry and had links to the Mafia. The Catholic church to date has been investigated for money laundering.

  • @Mr40mill Yes, i'll have to take a look at it, because i don't know much about freemasonry at all. Although my mum said once i had a wealthy cousin ( land owner ) that was a freemason. I took a look at Calvi's post-mortem photos and i thought, how the heck could anyone consider that as a suicide?! Corruption further up the ranks i think & a cover-up, it was clearly murder, it could not have been anything else. It's long been suspected that the Church of Rome has links with the Mafia, suspected..
