Oh my gosh! I saw David Sacks' tweet about this and about died laughing! I have a request though, can we have a puppet reenactment of the Microsoft 25th Anniversary PDDA (Public Display of Developer Affection)?
What's the deal? According to an article, Yahoo don't get any money up front, Yahoo send all their search traffic to MS, and let Yahoo have 88% of ad revenues at Bing/Yahoo? Plus MS gets access to Yahoo's search technology. Apparently Yahoo will see a huge boost in ad revenue ($500mil+) and expenses go down (no server farms to run), but they will effectively be AOL for the next 10 years... I guess it won't bother MS because they'll be raking it in with Win 7, and Yahoo! will die!
