who is better it's all subjective, but the fact is it would be DOPE to see q and ricci "battle"...kinda like x-men vs isp....which was a battle but really it's not a battle and in the end i think it truly hyped up a lot of kids to wanna scratch.

@rayswift707 d styles q and toad are techniciens for sure in a battle not sure that q could beat them imho.
-
@tsew75 Style and Techniques are different. I agree that the whole Gunkhole crew is waay more funky and play the TT as a musical instrument better than Q. If I wanted to see somebody just bust out with some nasty shit to an electro beat, Id watch Q. If I wanted to listen to some 70bpm, funky type shit ill listen to D.

@rayswift707 not really agree.D Styles . Ricci and toadstyles invented there own styles mixing the techniques and musicality .They are the spirits of scratching and for me way better than Q .They are also true producters.

"Do not show this man (Q-Bert) a skratch that you invented because he will study it, understand way better and will take it to a whole other plateau." -Yoga Frog
TRUTH!

This whole argument about who invented what skratch is stupid. Who cares! Might as well call Q a biter for doing flares or Ric a biter for doing crabs. Ric is sick no doubt but nobody can top Q. Qbert might not have invented some skratches but I tell you what, he will learn it and do it WAAAY better than the originator.
it's sad to see that most of you guys can't get over the "who is better" bullshit..

Ricci Rucker has been the most innovative figure in turntable music for quite a while now. The UPR series, Gunkhole, and the Controller One were all things he either did outright or had a hand in (excuse the pun). Qbert has done the most to make scratching visible to the masses, but he has innovated very little since the break record. As Intel said, Q bit most of his shit (he'll tell you that himself); his greatest accomplishment was in perfecting the things he borrowed.
