recap: demi has arrived!! Nat finally admits she likes ty too. Kev and aye are on an ok level. Nick and becca still havent talked yet.

me: *smiles & opens eyes & hugs joe* Im finally 13 and you cant do ath abt it dad.
j: I can lock you up here in your room till youre 30.
me: you wouldnt!

me: *jumps on his back* as long as you come up here to give me company sometimes, Im cool with it.
j: sorry. I have better things to do.
me: dad!
j: *laughs*
me: *jumps off him* so, whatd you get me? whatd you get me? whatd you get me?
j: I have 2 things to give you.

j: *laughs & extends a box to her*
me: *smiles huge & quickly opens it*

j: it-it was your mothers.
me: *brushes her thumb over the L* lizzie.....
j: yea. I-I bought it for her when we were dating.
me: *smiles at him*
j: She used to have a picture of herself and one picture of me in thr. Thats before you were born.
me: *stares at it & smiles*
j: she was saving it to pass it down to you when you turned 13.
me: *hugs her moms photo & puts the necklace on* how does it look?
j: *smiles* beautiful.
me: *smiles & quickly wipes a tear at the corner of her eye & sniffs* and my second gift?
j: *extends a journal-like book to her*
me: *takes it & is confused* isnt this moms diary? The one grandmother gave me?
j: no. this is another one that looks just like it. it was hard to find cause that ones really old but hey, I got it.
me: for me? For me to write?
j: for you to do whatever you want in it.
me: *hugs him* dad you know me so well. Now I have sth just like mom. Its like, Im connected to her. *hugs the book* Ill keep it forever.
j: *smiles & ruffles her hair*
me: wheres everybody else?
j: theyll be coming soon.
me: I need to go do sth first.
j: what?
me: *looks at him & blushes* Im gonna go talk to ty today.
j: oh. so youre planning to give yourself a little birthday treat.
me: dad pls! stop. become protective again. this is so awkward.
j: *laughs*

k: urm, so, its set? You and matt come over to Joes tonight?
a: yea. its cool. *smiles*
v: *appears next to kev & kisses his cheek* hello. hey Adrianna.

v: so you coming to Joes tonight? For nats birthday?
a: yea. and matt as well.
v: thats great. Nat will love to see matt again. she always talks abt him.
a: yea. hes excited to see her too.

a: *stares with mouth open*

r: *sees Courtney watching tv* hey, aren't you getting dressed? You know we gotta go see nat.
c: urm, i-i dont think Im going.
r: what? why? *touches her forehead* are you feeling ok?
c: yea. Im fine. I just dont think I should go over there.
r: what? why not?
c: *sighs*
r: sis, what is it?
c: I think-*sighs as a tear rolls down her cheek* I think Im gonna break up with Joe.
