hey just for future references it would b really nice if u mention what settings ur in cuz default settings puts maya in the animations settings and u need to b in the polygons setting to access the edit mesh and stuff ur using

Thanks for the tutorial, just started yesterday and I'm getting crazy because in 99% of tutorial I saw so far explain every single option in Maya, things we are not going to use ever at that basic basic level if we don't know how to create a simple cube.

dude.. awesome tut. i have been looking for a decent beginner tutorial. for quite some time. i have both lightwave and maya and i pushed maya aside due to the difficult learning curve. your tutorial inspired me to play with maya again. thank you. and keep up the good work.
