@tiwer1 My preference is to mount it in the rear, far less obvious (it runs dark when the mirror is connected) and good sensitivity front and rear. I ran a rear mounted V1 in a Porsche for three years and have excellent sensitivity. If you think about it the V1 has front and rear sensors, putting it in the rear just moves it about six feet and you'll have the same sensitivity facing forward as you have facing backwards when it is in the front.

@ysrelement the issue is its not integrated with the v1 in it from what i gather, it is just a external display and maybe beeps. you still have to have the v1 installed in a dash or somewhere i beleive.

@stealthmirror where would one install teh v1 itself and still remain to get a signal while the v1 itself is hidden??? fj cruiser is what i would put one of the mirrors in. i have a v1

Thanx, I got everything at once as sort of a package. including my ECU upgrade I've put about 9k into the car.
