As creations of worship, everything we do IS worship. So, yes, singing "Free Bird", when the glory is given to God is as pure worship as is Amazing Grace. God didn't make all these "extra rules". His were pure and simple and there were only 10 of them, until Jesus came along and added the Love Thy Neighbor one. We're the ones that added all the "extra" stuff that creates all of this judgementalism. God knew we wouldn't even be able to handle the first 10, let alone another few hundred

How is this about God? How is this FOR God? It directs our attention and applause to the worship team, not to God. That's not worship...at least it's not worshiping God.
