these video's related to Kensington locks are to be commended. Kensington locks are basically untrustworthy and buying one believing they will protect your laptop is shown by these video's to be a expensive waste of time. As a result of the video's I would never buy anything made by kensington again. The company is a disgrace selling locks they would know are shit

Laptop Jacking 101. Crappy locks, next time, use a big fat chain to secure it, that or bolt it to the desk.

i recently bought one of those. and i'm not even complaining very much that it's obviously not that safe. the real problem for me: IT STINKS LIKE HELL! how do i fix that with a screwdriver?

Chuck it out and get something that is more secure and easier to use. You may have to buy a glue-on device to do it.

This one does not do much, as ytou can see. A better lock would not only deter someone from taking it; it would prevent easy, casual theft.
