question, do cars with 'flappy padle' gearboxes need a clutch that you push down with your foot, it always puzzled me.

@rossy2by5 - flappy paddle gearboxes have an automated clutch that you feel when u take off. however, u cant operate it urself. it only has a break and gas pedal. racecars with flappy padl have a clutch pedal to take off and sometimes for downshifting (Porsche Cup)

Go to nordschleife or hockenheimring. There are similar opponets and no civil cars. This road is not a race track.
