This video chronicles my stay in Varanasi and journey to Sarnath and then Bodh Gaya and back to Nepal.
This video is part of a Nepal-India-Nepal trip. Chronicles the part from Varanasi to border crossing to Nepal.
Varanasi's ghats comes alive at 5am..video starts with early mornings on the river Ganges in Varanasi.
Travelled around the Varanasi area.
Visited Sarnath, Buddha gave his first sermon there.
Proceed to Bodh Gaya by train.
Bodh Gaya is where Buddha gained his enlightenment under the Bodhi tree.
Went up to Patna and proceeded on the treacherous road up to Nepal. Transport is terrible here, the whole journey up to Kathmandu from Bodh Gaya took me almost 2 days...
