Could you expand on this please? I think I could understand what you are saying (somewhat) but I think Chris does great job of mixing technicality with emotion. I mean listen to Steve Vai's For the Love of God.. or even Tender Surrender. I don't dig all of Vai's stuff but those 2 mix both techniques perfectly. It's hard to do (I know - I'm a guitarist myself) and sometimes its hard to draw the line between the two. it has to be a perfect blend of soul and technicality skills. Chris does it well!

Mr. Peeler! YOU BAD!!!
chris maybe its me, i think you are fantastic technically, but when you hear people play something other than classical, technical playing means nothing, i am looking for emotion and, i don't know why, but i am just not feeling you. i think it's possible it's me because the fans seem to love you but you don't make me want to pump my fist or rock my head, and i am not listening for jimmy, i WANT you to hook me, but you never do. its not a bad performance though.
