@forgetfuldays My emotions are controlled, I haven't been childish, and now you've resolved to making up stuff to make me look bad.
I am glad to hear that you're done with this conversation, though.
-
@onkelmonokkel Just quoting you, that's all. To bad all you can do to try to move the conversation forward is make an entire post an insult.
Some people just can't control their emotions and revert to childish actions, oh well.
Either way, I have made my point. I'm done with this conversation.

@forgetfuldays I'm not sure if you're actually reading what I write before posting your replies.
It's not rocket science to understand that since it's my opinion that they should be let out once in a while, I feel that keeping them firmly locked up inside is abuse. I haven't changed opinions at all, so how you drew that conclusion is beyond me. Probably also beyond everyone else.
What you said made no sense at all. I think you're just trying to troll... and you're not good at it either.
-
@onkelmonokkel I really could care less if you think its good or not to domesticate an animal, its already been done, over thousands of years. Nothing you can do to change that, just accept it.
Interesting how you changed your opinion from "captivity and abuse!" to "they need to be let out sometimes"
Sure, just like any living being needs exercise and all be benefits the sun gives. But that is a far cry from what you said at first.
I guess what I before made sense to you.
-
@forgetfuldays You do realize that the reason for that is the humans in the first place? Even if you domesticate an animal to live in captivity, it doesn't mean that it's a good thing. It's beside the point, though, my point is that I've let every cat I've ever had go outside, and they've all died of old age. Just because they run the chance of catching a disease if they go outside doesn't mean you should isolate it from the world. Cats are predators, and they need to be let outside sometimes.
-
@onkelmonokkel You do realize that through several thousands of years we have domesticated animals. About 90% of domesticated cat and dog species would die without humans, they do not have the body structure, instinct, or skills to fend for themselves in the wild.
These animals are domesticated specifically to be held captive to an individual or family, and the animal needs it to survive. (throw a pug or a tabby in the wild and see if it lives very long)
Your claim of "abuse' is ignorant...
-
@Karighan Yeah, God forbid you would let animals live like they're supposed to, eh. You can't confine animals to captivity just because there's a risk of something bad happening to them, that's abuse.
