@JimmyGunXD556 I'm not sure I understand your comment..i agreed with the Jacob that the shot was easy with a scope, and I said I did it with open sites too...i wasn't degrading anyone

@mechaike AR15 is the civilian version. The M16 was fully automatic... aaand thats illegal now without a hefty check book and the right licensing

I wish I had a cam when I hit 390 yrd m16 rental, just peep sights. You should practice the army minimum of 300 with peep sights only.

What kinda steel are you using? My bullets just whent thrue the target living nice round holes cal:308win

It looked more like 500 yards than it did 275. Good shooting, btw.

Steel-cased ammo and hard Berdan primers are no problem for Geissele Automatics triggers. Sets them off reliably, consistently. Accuracy is greatly improved from stock OEM trigger with ~10 millisecond lock time to less than half, compared to a Remington 700 bolt-action of ~2.5 millisecond lock time. Good for that range with irons.

@pkasimov True true. Very capable round.

@RYSE12345 5.45x39 too. I'd love to have one of those (S&W) if it werent for the corrosive rounds that you can get only from Russia/Bulgaria...
what was that scope mount and did it have a space under the rail so that you could use iron sights?

@jigglejack100 its a "Tapco riser mount", you can see through it, but all you can see is the base of the front sight. I wanted a slightly higher mount so there wasn't much of the front sight visible in the scope.

What scope did you attach to your gun
an10nee 1 year ago
@an10nee Its a cheap Bushnell 3-9x40 that I got used for free, but it works perfectly. Not as nice to look through as the Leupold on my 30.06, but just as dependable

@wavelength1970 On your scope were u aiming directly on the target, and thats where they landed,or did u shoot a little high?
OSHADYO 1 year ago
@OSHADYO Oh jeez this was like 1.5 years ago...I think I aimed a little high and they were hitting in the middle...I had 36" of vertical target so I wasn't too worried about it.
