Marstons Pedigree tastes exactly the same in the bottle as it does in the cask. smooth smooth Ale / Beer that would go with almost all meats: fish chicken beef etc. If you would like the Real Ale Guide to review a Ale/Beer for you then e-mail me at realaleguide@gmail.com thanks again for tuning in

  • I'm a recent convert to real ale after years of drinking lager. I've become a big fan of Marstons Pedigree and totally agree with your comments on the video. Having great fun ordering a pint again as I steadily work through the 10 ales on the Real Ale Guide's blog: 1) Old Speckled Hen 2) Cwrw Haf 3) Old Peculier 4) King Goblin 5) Bishops Finger 6) Old Thumper 7) Pedigree 8) Light Headed 9) Hobgoblin 10) Spitfire.
  • @Shinguard1 Its great that you have made the jump to good beer, all the beers you mention are a great step for you. Once you have tried them get some Sierra Nevada Pale Ale (available in Tesco and Morrisons) that will blow your mind, cheers

  • @Shinguard1 I've never heard of Sierra Nevada ale before so I'll keep an eye out for it in the supermarket.

  • @Shinguard1 Sierra Nevada has a green and yellow label, well worth a look, pick some Brewdog 5am Saint up in Morrisons too, thats a fabulous red ale. Cheers

  • One of my favourite session beers

  • @captlurch Yes very good to session this and leaves you wanting more, cheers
