Gracias! Lo que pasa con Ocaña es que creo que le faltaba ganar algo más. Un Tour o un par de Vueltas más y no hubiera tenido pega en meterle a la altura de Lemond. Como corredor le daba sopas con ondas a Zoetemelk o incluso a Gimondi, pero es que el amigo tuvo la negra y un poquito de mala cabeza también. En su haber, el ser el único corredor que humilló -ya no ganar, sino humillar- a Merckx. Y la sensación de que el caníbal hubiera naufragado en el Tour del 73.

Personalmente avrei messo Alfredo Binda nei primi cinque di sempre. Molti storici lo considerano più grande dello stesso Coppi e del Cannibale Merckx. Se non ci fosse stata la caduta, che ne compromise la classifica (fatto che successivamente, dopo due splendidi tapponi vinti, lo portò al ritiro dalla corsa) avrebbe vinto sicuramente il Tour (l'unico che corse). Tre Mondiali e 5 Giri d'Italia (più uno in cui venne pagato per non correre) dimostrano la grandezza assoluta di questo campione
