@RipplingOphelia If you get a chance check out the soprano sax solo on Hejira on the shadows and light album (it's not in the film ) it's the real deal by one of the Breckers I think.

Lyle used to come over to my house and play with my husband. Those were the days! Aspiring musicians and their passions. Pat's playing is celestial!

Nice to see a very youthful Metheny playing his heart out. . . . he's such a kid here. . . but of course the playing is always there. . heartfelt, pretty, and then Lyle comes in making even the Oberheim patches sound good. . .and well. . a real treat!! This was quite a gathering a genius. . with of course Joni being the total surprise. .
