A video showing what my hands can make with a single strand of wire. I don't know how to sodder anything, so if I have to, I'm doomed. lol

Making The Dragon:
Trust me, this dragon was very easy for me to make. It's only time-consuming. It took several hours in total, but that's because I can draw this on paper without a problem. I've been able to do this since before I knew I could. If you want to make something like this but have no talent in art, I suggest you learn to draw the basics of your idea first and know its structure. It must be accurate or you'll get nothing but a stick figure. I used skinny pliers and some screwdrivers to wrap the wire around to make the neck and tail. I bought the 22-gauge wire at Sears, but I don't recommend you get wire from there if you're an artist, because I read on the back that it contains chemicals that can be cancerous and that you should wash your hands after handling, which I hadn't noticed until after making so many things out of the wire. If you're at beginner level, try to get a more malleable(bendable) kind of wire. I don't know if copper or insulated(wrapped in plastic) wire are safest to use, but I recommend you read all that is on the labels on the wire before getting it . I believe the wire in art catalogs should be totally safe though, which is now what I am working with.

When bending art, go for what you feel you can do. Don't look for something complicated you're not sure you can make or you might only wind up throwing out. You'll only end up wasting material and money. Also, make sure you have the time and patience to sit for hours, bending wire. If you have the skills of an artist, you have nothing to lose. If I can make this with little experience in metalworking, you probably could too.

Whole story:
I started making things with wire almost a week before making this. The first thing I made was a little spider out of boredom. It came out better than expected, so I started to think about making something else. I did have a shark-tooth-shaped shard of Smokey Quartz that I had smashed, so I decided to make a necklace out of it and wire was perfect. With a demonic wire wing on the side, it almost looks like I bought it. I even made some for my friends, their choice of shards, which also turned out amazing, so I decided to try something else. I made a bunny and a bird, both turning out great, and as the days passed, I spent 2 or 3 days that week making one of these things after school, and I came up with the idea of making a dragon, something more impressive, complex, and fun to look at. Right after I finished it, I took a picture and made a video for everyone to see, including friends and/or relatives who don't live nearby as well as people who'd like to see my artwork. Now, I am thinking of making a life-sized one. I didn't even know I could do this sort of thing a week ago, and now I want to make something huge that I've never attempted before. Weird how fast my mind goes, huh?

(After finding out about the dangers of THIS SPECIFIC WIRE THAT I USED, I trashed the charm and took out the Smokey Quartz shard and cleansed it. I am never planning on working with wire again unless I am sure it is safe, from an art supply store or catalog.)
