a very underated and scary film, the tapes you hear in the film are actual tapes from the asylum about the case of Mary with the spilt personalities while during the film you will see her actual grave sept the fictional part is that her personalities possess the men who was working in the asylum and as for the tapes it was mentioned on a indie channel that there were actual tapes before airing the film so I'm not sure if it was true or not. There's a very good reason why nobody has ever made any documentaries about Danvers Mental State Hosptial while somebody needed their head examimed for trying to convert the hosptial into condos which mysterously caught on fire not to mention there was a plant exposion about a year ago. i happened to come across this film in a $10 bin somewhere i worked, i got it because i was doing my art on psychiatric kind of stuff. the tapes are what freak me out the most the movie, not really anything else. i didnt know they were real tapes.
