Ya know when you think about it this was the same score as alabama lsu round 1 but this game was a hell of a lot better any game at Kyle field just seems more exciting. Texas A&M has the best fans in america

@chewybacaking Yeah, I know right? Because Texans knows absolutely nothing about football.
...I hope my sarcasm was slathered on thick enough for you.

@13saxman That's pretty cool. Thanks.

@55damian The second verse is the verse that makes fun of Texas, and overtime has simply been used twice as opposed to doing both verses. With this SEC move, I expect that we will switch to a format where we do both verses. I hope this was just a little bit informative. Thanks & Gig 'em!!

@55damian It is a little known fact that the Aggie War Hymn actually has two verses, the first is as follows...
"All Hail to dear old Texas A&M,
Rally around Maroon and White
Good Luck to dear old Texas Aggies,
They are the ones who show the real old fight
That good old Aggie Spirit thrills us
And makes us yell, and yell, and YELL
So lets fight for dear old Texas A&M
We're gonna beat you all to Chiggarogaram..."

im from los angeles. my family had to move to houston because of my dads work so my parents made me go to a texas school for in state tuition. it was between a&m and tech. this basically won me over

@mindcontroler152: "take a look at the tu song". I was warned you guys define yourself in relation to the Longhorns, but I actually took your advice and searched for their song.
I found a reference to A&M in "Texas Fight" (goodbye to A&M). I searched other schools and found that KU references several schools in their fight song.

The big difference I noticed is that A&M's song is dedicated entirely to Texas. You sing about their colors - orange and the white", their mascot's horns, their football team - Varsity, you're gonna beat TX, goodbye to TX. Hell, ya'll even sing about The Eyes of TX - sounds like hell. Over and over the song goes.
But hey, if you guys are comfortable with that, who am I.
But you gotta know people are gonna find that obsessive.
Beat Bama/Florida/LSU then sing about TX = weird.
NCAA record number of students at a football game. They call the 12th man the best in the nation for a reason. Best night ever

My dad is UT alumni & I plan to become a student at UT, but wow. Although I'm not a fan of A&M, I still respect the crap out of y'all lol. One of my good friends was given tickets to a game at Kyle Field (they're UT fans) and they said that they LOVED it! I must attend a game soon :)
