From their award-winning 2007 CD, "Real Stories: of Love Labor and Other Man Made Catastrophes," comes the song "Let'em Die." It's a quick recap of the events of August 2005 when Hurricane Katrina generated the largest storm surge in the recorded history of the Gulf. The horrible conditions at the Superdome and Convention Center and the inability of the mayor, the governor, even the president to do anything about it are noted. The song tells of a terrible tragedy, but like all great blues, the song manages to be uplifting and makes mockery of the powerful. The words are not included in the CD, so the lyrics here are from my own transcription; I hope they're correct. I made this video using Windows Movie Maker and pictures and clips collected on the Internet.
Idk I have that album and the lyrics are in the cd booklet...
