  • Fujikawa's fastball actually has more rotations per second than other pitchers who have similar or faster fastballs. In addition, the spin axis is much lower than an average fastball, which gives it the hopping effect that it has.

    Even though Fujikawa is known for his fastball, he also has a plus splitter and curve.
