Well...I can't say true or not - just happens a lot -I'm in Ireland and it's full of idiots in the companies who just don't say they don't know but they always "double check" :)))))

It kills me that companies & corporations gnash teeth over the idea of paying their workers a living wage but lavish heavily on C.E.O.s & such who are stupid, greedy, and sociopathic...

It does seem a bit excessive, especially with all the equity these CEOs have. They could pull a salary of $0 and still be millionaires.

The guy was a real douchebag. I can't believe someone - especially your boss - would actually say that. Luckily, they went through their 4th or 5th re-org in 3 years so I was given another boss, and he was a good guy. Made the last couple of years tolerable.
