Hitman: Absolution - Game Preview

The deadly and infamous assassin "47" returns in the new game Hitman: Absolution. IGN Editor Ryan Clements was lucky enough to get some time with the title and goes over the major changes developer IO Interactive has made to the series play style. Gone are large, sprawling levels and cluttered mini-maps, replaced now with a streamlined "Instinct" view, in which 47 can predict the path of enemies and the layout of maps. Will these changes breathe fresh air and innovation to the series or hurt its fan loved sand-box freedom? We'll have to wait until later in 2012 to see, as there is no official release date yet from publishers Square Enix/Eidos.

the only thing i ask from the devs is that they don't make it too linear. i dont want to start at the front door, move through the house, kill the mark, find the exit.

if anything, they should learn more from the prequels (especially 2 and contracts) and make the gameplay affected by weather conditions (totally unique to each attempt), time of day (eg. waiting outside with binoculars until darkness falls, then making a move) please dont fuck up hitman like splinter cell or fallout NV. (IMHO!!)

the guy in the video said that in the older games u had mini map, false u had a great map and i will miss it in hitman absolution

what for they waited for? 6 years? For next gen. of graphics ? I think not,improvment in graphics is about 20-30 %...........but to wait years just for few new movments lead to-I will definetly buy torrent!

Hopefully there will be missions like blood money where you have Heaps of diffrent ways to kill and can explore everywhere. But still if they make it hide behind cover kill him no civilian game ill prob still buy it still has good content
