One thing I don't understand is how come the Ukrainians have failed to promote this beautiful city as a host of the EURO 2012 Games? In my view, Lviv can easily compete with Cracow architecture-wise (as it`s culturally more diverse) and is much more cheaper. And the people are friendlier (except the older generations raised under the Soviets who have a mean attitude). I totally enjoyed my stay there last year :)
