Ode to Violence Chapter 24: Testament - Part 1

Finally, after the intense battle, Adel has successfully defeated his father. He looks at Rugal's limp body quietly lying on the ground, as good as dead. Seeing that his pursuit is over, he rests at ease knowing that the menace that is his father been taken out, and he can continue on with his journey with no hindrance. "It's over." he thinks to himself. As Adel turns around to find a way out of the ship, he suddenly hears a very menacing chuckle...
"Ha! ha! ha! ha! ha!"
Adel turns around, and much to his surprise, he now stares again at Rugal, this time displaying a rather pale complexion & a metallic look. The room around them suddenly changes, looking drastically more different than before. All exits were shut off, and now there was no opening for Adel to escape. Rugal stares at him with menacing eyes.

"Hm! hm! hm! hm! A rather impressive performance, whelp! I must commend you. Now for entertaining me greatly, I shall grant you a fabulous gift: a slow, painful DEATH! HA! HA! HA! HA!"
"Tch! You just don't stay dead, eh, old man? Unfortunately, I have other another business to attend with, & you're delaying me greatly! This time I'll make sure that you stay dead!" Adel then prepares himself yet again, but unfortunately he could still feel his fatigue from his previous battle. "Dammit, this won't do! I have to finsih this quickly, or I won't have enough strenght to help Dan!"
Rugal replies with a maniacal chuckle. "Mu-ha! ha! ha! ha! Are those your last words?" He braces back & spreads his arms. "Don't you realize where you are right now? You're in my world, boy! The only way for you to leave is to either kill me, or be killed! So now... I grant you the LATTER OPTION!!!" He releases an ultra-fast Kaiser Wave towards Adel. The young Bernstein, due to fatigue, never had a chance to react & had no other choice but to receive the deadly blow. But before the projectile landed on him, another powerful projectile came from behind Adel, which deflected the Kaiser Wave.
"What!? Another visitor? My, isn't this a peculiar day?" Rugal muses. "Who dares enter my domain?" Adel looks behind him. "Dan! Are you alright? But you haven't recovered yet!" Violent Dan stays silent, staring menacingly at Rugal. "Well, well, what do we have here? A mere lawn gnome pretending to be a horrible demon? Ha! ha! ha! So do you bufoons think that with your current conditions, that you have any hopes of defeating me, the Mighty Rugal!?" Violent Dan only gave a mean stare & replies, "Don't talk... just fight!!!" After hearing those words, Rugal fumed with anger, "AND WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY THAT!? For insulting me, both of you shall die a million deaths!!! Now FACE EVIL'S WRATH!!!" WIth spite & fury, Rugal unleashes his awesome power that shook the entire area. But Violent Dan & Adel only stood their ground.
"I must thank you for saving my hide back there" Adel tells Dan. But Dan only smiled & said, "Don't bother... thank me later... after we send this menace back to the fiery depths where he belongs!"
"I hear you, friend."
They both brace themselves as Rugal begins his bloody rampage.
