Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li is the latest in a long string of video games translated into movies that misses the grade. I went with an open mind, hoping against hope that this would be a thrilling film, or at least the action would be fun. I was disappointed on both counts.

Starring the earnest Kristin Kreuk (Smallville) as Chun-Li, this ponderous, cliché filled film didnt have one original moment in it. Horrible dialog such as Even milk has an expiration date! and believe in your true self plus lackluster fight scenes left me with nothing to recommend.

  • I would agree. I almost peed in my pants when he delivered the line: "Charlie Hack, Interpol".
