@lcola50 Criticize our fan base when you can actually fill your 65,000 capacity stadium regularly. Also, what you quote resemble very much of Pitts basketball program and their fans attitude towards their program.

I have nver seen a more overrrated and narracisitc fan base than Penn State. You constantly say your elite, but yet you know for a fact that Florida, USC, and Texas are out of your league. Then you always say best fan base in the country. If that was the case than why so many empty seats for homecoming. And why so many people leave when Iowa whipped you again? Arent you the best fans in the nation. Why not stay for the end and cheer the greatest college this side of the Universe.

Pal PITT was the dominant team in this state for many years the only reason you guys got all this publicity is because of Joe Paterno infact Penn State was nothing until he came PITT owned Penn State until Joe Pa came and 9 nationtal titles to two I dont think PITT is living in Penn State's shadow now sure PITT hasnt been doing really well in the last 20 plus years but they will reign supreme again someday

Yeah, once in blue moon, Pitt gets their heads outta their butts and beats us. Why? Because it gets old shellackin' Pitt year-in, year-out, and PS gets too cocky-then Pitt gets one of their rare wins against us. But Pitt, yuns will ALWAYS be in PENN STATE'S shadow. Live with it. WE ARE-PENN STATE!
