  • the weather underground was stupid and gave the left a bad name. Fred was right on

  • Do a quick search for Donna Ron. She had the courage a few years back to post to the internet what Bill Ayers did to her back in the 60s. Today it's called kidnapping and rape.

And Dohrn? She praised Charlie Manson and his little hippy family upon their arrest for the murders of Sharon Tate and others in 1969. She was ecstatic that he was following her call to "kill pigs".

Both Ayers and Dohrn are trying to whitewash their terrorist past but aren't convincing anyone of their "altruism".

  • In the end, it didn't save him from Hoover's assassins.

  • During those days the SDS and the weathermen faction worked closely with the Panthers, and in good faith. People don't realize that black liberation was central to the weathermen ideology, just as important as ending Vietnam, if not more so. Unfortunately, due to the extreme racism of the time, African americans usually suffered the brunt of police reaction to YRM activities. So Fred Hampton had to make a decision to protect his people, but don't think it means he hated the YRM.

  • The Weatherman used black Americans to install socialism.

  • I think I understand what hes sayin. Dont be a fucking Martyr and dont sacrifice your people. In the words of the great scumfuck Patton....

Dont die for your country, make the enemy die for HIS.

Cut all that fuckin country shit and you got yerself a battlecry

they were prolly CIA sponsored, I agree with that as well.

  • Hampton was talking about the Weatherman group _before_ they went underground; specifically their "Days of Rage" action when hundreds of protesters were beaten by police. Within a short time, Hampton was brutally murdered by the police. Meanwhile, the Underground went on to free Timothy Leary from jail, bomb the Capital building, etc., etc., and to retaliate for the fatal police assault on the Black Panthers. The Panthers later stated that they shared the same analysis and goals.

  • what he says at the end pretty much sums up perfectly the many bad points of the new left and some of the horrific movements that grew out of it i.e The RAF the Japanese RAF and so on
