I've got the Power Plasma 50 and I love it. An inch and 1/8 is a bit too much for a 50 amp machine. If you want to cut thicker than 3/4 inch material, then I would recommend the Power Plasma 70. I've used the 70 and it is great for the thicker materials. The Power Plasma 50 is great for what cutting I do most, from sheet steel to 3/4 inch materials. Never had a problem yet with the Power Plasma 50. I highly recommend it.
I know air pressure is really quite variant, but what pressure did you use on this cut?
