for slugs i put beer in a paper cup buried up to its lip in the soil . slugs go for beer and drown thx, eri c.

My husband cracked up when you talked into the bowl and your wife said, "What". For the past two days he has been stopping in mid conversation, holding his hands up like he's holding a bowl, and saying "hello". I say, "What?" and we laugh like fools. We're such dorks. LOL

I just started gardening this summer and now i planted winter crops like chard, kale, winter squash and a few herbs. I love doing it and will never stop haha. even if it is just a few pots!!!

cute puppy. great video finally someone who gardens with a sense of humor. I grow the cut and come again lettuce and love it. what do you do to control slugs. they love my lettuces and peas.

Thats some beautifull lettuce there.i specially love that romain lettuce you have there it looked so healthy and good.Considering its $2.99 to 3.99 for a pack of 3 heads its sure worth growing your own the savings sure add up quick and you know its not sprayed if you grow it yourself!!
