Smoke Lucky Strike Old School Unfiltereds

This is the second vid of three of me reliving a smoking day like those I had in the 1960's. The first vid was the quick smoke before the carpool gets here. The second is a smoke break, at work or whereever, and the third is the coming home from work smoke. Lucky Strike unfiltereds are hard to get these days, but back in the late 50's and 60's, they and three other unfiltered brands-Camels, Pall Mall, and Chesterfields were four of the top five selling cigarette brands. Winston Reds were the first good selling filtered brand and they stayed in the top five for about ten years--until the Marlboro Man, cowboy-themed ads got going widely. Then, Marlboro Reds got accepted by men, rapidly took over as number 1 in sales and never looked back. I still love to fire-up these unfiltered brands for their great flavor and hard hitting smoke. Hope to meet more smokers like me who enjoy unfiltereds, along with their Reds or what ever else they're smokin'. The point is to enjoy a part of your life, in a way you choose. It's your life and your life does not belong to someone else. It definitely does not belong to the government....

Where do you buy these? I'm in Florida and I've heard you can only buy them online?

@WaffleTheAlmighty It's hit or miss in Florida. I've found them in Walgreen's and some of the food stores there, or any large tobacco shop. Just look for that unique package; it stands out in a display.

How much money do you spend on cigarettes each year?

@TeunTheGod One carton per week with an average cost of $50, so around $2,600 a year would be a good estimate of what I spend.

@rockyfan1990 Yeah, great taste and a powerful hit from all the nicotine in these old unfiltered brands. And you get an even harder hit if you haul 'em right and I do! Get on 'em. Hope they never go away.

@TobaccoOnFireReborn Say you're in high school or especially college, you have a strong smoke and nicotine habit already, you have to go to class and not smoke for an hour or two. Do you smoke easy, or do you pound it-- for the 40 seconds you have before going in.  Same with being in the military or being at a job where you can't smoke for an hour or so. Then I found I enjoyed my cig's more if I got on 'em, maybe not crush one every time, but do it right for most enjoyment.
